Whatever happened to PEOPLE meetings–those great gatherings of MWBE firms and majority owned firms mixed in with city, county, and industry professionals of every sort?

The answer is simple, they were washed away by the great pandemic flood of 2020. What was not washed away though was the need for such gatherings. Come join me and the diversity representatives from the major GC’s/CM’s/Owners/City/Country in our first PEOPLE meeting since the early days of pre-pandemic 2020.

This grand re-opening of PEOPLE will be held at Delmar DivINe, 5501 Delmar, on Wednesday, November 15, from 4:00 to 5:30. The primary purpose of a PEOPLE meeting is to fill a room with MWBE firms and majority firms and industry professionals and mix it up, get to know and love each other, and ultimately to work with each other. There really is no other agenda other than making introductions and telling your story to the right people.

As in all PEOPLE meetings, there is no fee for attending, no RSVP required, and all are welcome. If you have an interest of any sort in the design and construction industry and/or are seeking design and construction opportunities in the greater St. Louis marketplace, you should be at this meeting.

I will use this opportunity to introduce my new book titled appropriately GUIDE TO BETTER ESTIMATING. This book is filled with useful tips on the estimating process and will be a great reference book to have at your side as you work to grow your company. Thanks to many in our industry, led by the Clark Fox Foundation, I am able to make this book available for use by the MWBE contracting community at no cost. I will be signing and distributing this book at this PEOPLE meeting–a great reason for you to be in attendance.

So, mark your calendar for Wednesday, November 15, 4:00 to 5:30 and attend the first PEOPLE meeting since early 2020. It has been too long.

Please make a mental note right now to enter the Delmar Divine complex on the far east side, under the canopy entrance, off Belt Street. This canopy entrance is right across from the new solar panel lined parking log off Belt. You will see it. The receptionist or signs will direct you to the meeting room.

We have a large hospitality room reserved so plenty of room to mix. Come as you are and bring your business cards.
