I thought we had a most successful PEOPLE meeting on Tuesday; so great to see so many come and participate. I think we are making progress and I hope others feel the same.

I am excited to see my book–PEOPLE of Construction-A Guide to Better Business–out on the street and so well received. If you did not get a copy, I am running fifty more copies and will have available right after Thanksgiving. Simply e mail me and I will arrange to get you a copy. I will also have available at the SLDC Plan Room at Cross Rhodes and also will be setting up meetings at the plan room to discuss the various chapters of the book for those that may have interest. So stay tuned, check the web site often for additional news.

As for opportunities, we discussed the following at the PEOPLE meeting and I suggest you keep all of these in front of you and at the very least, attend the pre-bid discussions. If you want to be a part of these projects and are searching for a path to get involved, shoot me an e mail and we can discuss the appropriate approach. The projects are:

McCarthy St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station non-structural demo will be out soon and bid date announced with the rest of the bid packages to be announced. This one is still a bit out in the future but coming fast. Should be bid out in January. They want and need loads of minority participation. See Monica Bailey for assistance.
